Aquicuana Reserve in Northern Bolivia is an area of incredible biodiversity. It is home to Lake San José, Pisatahua the plant-medicine retreat center, and two rural communities: San José and Warnes. It is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, breathtaking lakes, wild animals and much more. Its name, Aquicuana, comes from the Tacana native language, meaning « land of the giant trees ».
